Dr. Melissa will be delivering a workshop at Hawaii Doc Talks on the big island of Hawai’i January 2024 on implementing research in clinical practice. With a 15-year history in health research from basic science to epidemiology, she is a big advocate for evidence-informed practice and for research to be bi-directional – for research to inform clinical care delivery and for clinicians to report on what they witness in the real world. By engaging in practice-based research as clinicians, we can inform on how to optimize patient health outcomes!
