Pentosan Polysulfate- The mechanism of PPS action in osteoarthritis is multifactorial, with both stimulation of cartilage matrix synthesis and prevention of cartilage breakdown. In one study, after a series of four to six intra- articular PPS injections into knees of human volunteers, there was a significant increase in the size of the synovial fluid hyaluronan without causing any inflammation or bleeding into the joint cavity.

 

Sermorelin- Human growth hormone secretagogue, not human growth hormone. It acts on the pituitary and tells it to release Human growth hormone but works on a feedback loop and will stop when it has enough signal. Where as Human Growth hormone does not stop if you are giving directly that. Who is a candidate for sermorelin: High body fat, can’t lose weight, difficulty with sleep, slower recovery, poor cognition and the list goes on. If you are a candidate for testosterone therapy this might be a great first line/step before taking that leap.

 

LL-37- Antimicrobial peptide indicates that is also has antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral properties. May be highly effective for autoimmune issues and gut conditions including fungal and bacterial overgrowth. Warning: if you have SIBO, the die-off and herx reaction from LL-37 can be uncomfortable and may involve flu like symptoms and diarrhea for up to two weeks.
